Auto Ultimate has a citrus aroma with earthy and piney notes

Auto Ultimate, like its photoperiod parent ‘The Ultimate’, has a strong aroma that smells mainly of citrus fruit and lime. During the flowering phase, there are also more sweet and earthy notes to discover. After drying and a good cure, the citrus aroma is even more present and the buds smell very strongly of lemon and also musky. Auto Ultimate is a long flowering autoflower that takes an average of around 12 weeks from seed to harvest. For the plants that get the thickest and heaviest buds, it is advisable to give them a few extra weeks to fully ripen. This strain can, as it is called in the grower world, get a second internode bloom. This means that new “foxtails” are forming on the blooms and these need a few extra weeks to mature.

These super autos are often the highest yielding phenos and are well worth giving a few extra weeks in the grow room. In total, growing from seed to harvest can take anywhere from 12-15 weeks. The plants reach an average height of around 1-1.5m, but in exceptional cases and in the right hands they can grow even bigger.

If you would like to grow an XXL autoflower with hundreds of grams per plant, then our Auto Ultimate is the right choice. The strain produces best in a hydro system in combination with strong lighting, but it is also known for its generous yields in both soil and coco. Auto Ultimate is the highest yielding autoflower we’ve ever seen. In the right conditions, she can easily reach over 600g m2. In the hands of an expert, yields of up to 1000g/m2 are possible!

Outdoors she does well in all climates, but of course choose the sunniest months for the best results. She can also yield several hundred grams per plant outdoors, either rooted directly in the garden or in a pot in the garden/balcony. Preferably choose a large pot of at least 30-50 Litres so that she has plenty of space.

Advice from our experts

As mentioned, Auto Ultimate grows tall and produces long, full blooms that can become quite heavy. Supporting the buds with a net or cord is recommended to prevent branches from sagging under the weight of the buds. Large plants with many thick flowers consume more nutrients and drink more water. With the help of a tensiometer (this device measures the moisture value in your soil) you can give exactly as much water as she needs every day. An airpot, rootpouch or smartpot are recommended because of the high oxygen levels in these pots. Use these, or a hydro system, and you are guaranteed to get the most out of this autoflower.

Use strong lights, preferably LED lighting, and try to illuminate her from all sides as she is a real light-loving auto. If you plan to grow her outdoors, we recommend a pre-growth period (indoors under 20-24 hours of light per day) of approximately 2.5 weeks before placing her in the open air. Do you want to keep her small? Top her after about 3.5 – 4 weeks or use LST or supercropping to ensure that she grows more in width than height.
